Terms & Conditions

By purchasing tickets you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions.

DEPOSITS:

1: All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. By booking using the Deposit Payment option you accept that you will not be eligible for a refund if you are no longer able to attend the event for any reason.

2: You will only be entitled to a refund if the event is cancelled or postponed either by us or the venue.

​

3: You can pay the balance at any time by using the Pay Balance option on the event page or by contacting us to arrange your payment. All remaining balance for events must be paid no later than 7 days prior to the event taking place. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in your booking being cancelled and offered for resale. NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.

REFUNDS:

1: It is your responsibility to ensure you can attend the event when booking your tickets. Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE UNLESS THE EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED OR CANCELLED BY US OR THE VENUE. We will not be held responsible if for ANY reason you are not able to attend the event after you have purchased tickets. This includes injury or illness, whether direct or indirect, i.e., family member or friend. We will also not be responsible for any other costs incurred i.e., travel or hotel expenses. We will not accept any requests to transfer to a different event after you have booked and paid to attend a specific event.

 

2: If an event has been POSTPONED, we will offer you the option to transfer your ticket to the new date for the same venue, transfer your ticket to a different venue or issue a full refund.

 

3: If the event is CANCELLED either by us or the venue and we are not able to book another date, we will offer a refund or transfer to a different venue. You will be required to pay the difference in cost if the new venue is of higher ticket value, or you will be partially refunded if the new venue is of lesser value.

4: We do not issue tickets in the post or via email. Your booking confirmation email acts as proof of ticket purchase and your receipt. When attending an event please bring a copy of this with you. Anyone who is unable to produce their receipt when requested, either on a phone or on a printed copy will not be allowed into the venue. NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.

5: Refunds will be processed within 48 hours via the original payment method. We will not be held responsible for any delays issuing refunds that are caused by the company we use to take payment. Once we have processed a refund request it can take up to 28 days for the refund to be fully processed and returned to your bank account. This is beyond our control. Please be aware that any requests to refund via a different method will be declined.

 

General T&C's

1: Due to the unpredictable nature of our events, we advise pregnant ladies and people with heart or other health conditions to consider if the event is suitable to attend. We do not accept any responsibility if you choose to attend an event that is not suitable for you.

 

2A: Please do not arrive any earlier than 20 minutes before the start time stated on your ticket. The team will not be available to greet guests until 20 minutes before the start time. In some cases, we may not be able to allow guests access to the venue if you choose to arrive early. Guests should arrive no later than 5 minutes before the event is due to start.

2B: Due to some guests not turning up to events and failing to notify us that they will not be attending, we will no longer wait past the start time advertised for the event. Guests who arrive late may be denied entry to the event once it has started. NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.

 

3: We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for Drugs, Alcohol, Violent, Aggressive or Disruptive behaviour at our events No drugs or alcohol are permitted to be consumed prior to or during an investigation. Anyone found to be under the influence of drugs, alcohol or causing distress through their behaviour will be in breach of the terms and conditions and will be removed from the event. The Police may be called, and further action may be taken by us and/or the venue for any damage to property or equipment. Any guest that has been violent, aggressive or disruptive during an event will not be allowed back into the venue to continue with the investigation and will be banned from attending future events. NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.

 

4: We expect all of our guests to be polite and courteous to team members, other guests and the spirits we are communicating with. Rude behaviour will not be tolerated. Anyone found to be using inappropriate language excessively or being disrespectful will be given a warning. Anyone continuing to behave inappropriately after a warning will be asked to leave. NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.

 

5: Team members are there to ensure you have an enjoyable night as well as a safe night. Any request or instruction from a team member MUST be followed. Failing to follow a team members request, or instruction will result in a warning being given. Repeat disregard for a request or instruction to be followed will result in you being asked to leave. NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.

 

6: Minimum age to attend any investigation is 16. In some cases, the venue may not be suitable for attendees under the age of 18, or the venue management may specify that attendees MUST be 18 and over. Please check with us prior to booking if you are unsure of any age restrictions. If you book onto an event that has an age restriction prior to checking with us and is therefore not suitable, you will not be permitted to attend the event. NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED. Anyone under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by either a Parent or Legal Guardian. The Parent or Guardian will also be required to purchase a ticket. Tickets are full price for all attendees, we do not allow concessions or discount bookings for under 18's.

 

7: We do not offer discounts on group or multiple bookings under any circumstances. Every guest attending in a group booking must pay the FULL price per ticket.

 

8: We are unable to offer a discount for carers or guests attending with a carer, unless the venue has given us prior permission to do so. Venue hire is charged per person, and it is up to the venue to decide if they are able to offer us a discount to pass on to carers. This cannot be guaranteed, and, in the event, we are not able to pass on a discount the FULL ticket price must be paid by each guest to attend the event.

 

9: Smoking will be permitted in designated areas only. In some cases, venues do not permit smoking at all on site. This is beyond our control, anyone found to be ignoring the no smoking request may be asked to leave by the venue host as per their own policies. NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.

 

10: During investigations we ask that all mobile phones either be switched off or put to flight mode. This is to reduce interference with any electrical equipment being used. If for any reason you require your phone to be left on, please speak to a member of the team.

 

11: Where permitted, we will be using Ouija Boards during our investigations. Anyone that is uncomfortable using these must speak to a member of the team before taking part in the session.

 

12: When possible, we will have team mediums at the investigations. This cannot always be guaranteed.

 

13: In the event of an accident, appropriate medical attention will be sought. Anyone taken ill during an investigation will be assessed and appropriate medical attention sought. We reserve the right to refuse anyone who is unwell to continue with the investigation. The management's decision will be final. NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.

 

14: We do not fake any activity. If we see nothing, you see nothing. We ask that guests do not try to fake activity. Anyone suspected of faking activity and/or causing distress to other guests through faking activity will be asked to step away and given a warning. Anyone continuing to fake activity after a warning will be removed immediately. NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.

 

15: Where possible we aim to allow free time for the last part of the evening. This is venue dependant and cannot be guaranteed.

 

16: We allow use of our equipment; however, this must be returned at the end of the night. Any damages must be reported immediately.

 

17: Your own equipment is welcome at our investigations. However, we may ask that it be used during free time only if it interferes with our own planned activities.

 

18: Our events will be run in the dark when possible. Please bring a torch and wear suitable footwear.
